Chili recipe from the farmhouse. Wholesome, hearty, spicy favor.
Our topic this month is a fun one – Tailgate and Picnic Ideas
Come along let’s see what all my blogger friends came up with
But first I would like to share my Chili recipe that is perfect for your next Tailgate and Picnic
Here in Colt’s County we love tailgating and football parties
And what better food then a Spicy Delicious hot bowl of Chili.
Yumm….I am hungry just thinking about it.
My chili recipe has taken me years to perfect and
has been tweaked over and over and now I finally have the Best Chili recipe ever.
Perfection takes time folks!
Lean Ground Beef
4 Cans Kidney Beans
Salt & Pepper
One of the ingredients that make this Chili outstanding is McCormick Chili, Hot, 1.25 Ounce
I add one of these packets to my mixture and it gives the perfect amount of seasonings every time.
Cook lean ground beef and drain. Add to large sauce pan.
Add all other ingredients.
The one ingredient that makes this chili the best is – diced tomatoes & green chilies by RO-TEL…….
You say you haven’t heard of RO-TEL?
A lot of people haven’t….I feel sorry for people that haven’t heard of RO-TEL……it has changed my life!
Add the tomato juice. I use V-8 but you can use any you like.
Add all the other ingredients….chili beans with sauce, dash of salt, V-8 Juice, again stir around.
Let this mixture come to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
It will become thick, rich and incredibly delicious!
