AUTUMN TABLESCAPE AT THE FARMHOUSE
Welcome to the Autumn Tablescape and Blog Hop hosted by Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate!
I can’t wait to show you what I did to create my Autumn Table at the Farmhouse.
When I joined with my blogger friends for this hop it didn’t take me long to decide I wanted to create an outdoor table setting.
Fall is the perfect time to enjoy this beautiful season of cooler temperatures, wonderful colors of nature and very few bugs. WooHoo!
This is a great way to entertain when you don’t have a porch or your porch is too small.
Come along and let me show you what I came up with.

No table……No problem
So here I was with a great idea but no table. Hmmm
Problem was I didn’t have a table that could be easily carried out to my spot.
Ok so I head to the barn to take a gander of what might work as a table.
Their were two sawhorses and 3 – 6 ft. boards that I thought would make a table
Deciding on the location
There were several locations that would have worked
but my favorite spot is on our walking path a short distance from the house.
If you have been here at the Farmhouse before you all know that I always use items I have on hand.
No need to spend money on new items.
Use what you have, it’s all about displaying in unique, pretty arrangements.
When I started to gather my items I had no idea how I was going to arrange them or if I would use everything I was dragging outside
I wish I had taken a picture of the wheelbarrow loaded with all this stuff…..it was a sight.
And I was trying to hurry so I wouldn’t lose the light I needed to take the photos.
So let’s take a look at some of the elements of the table setting.
Off white plates, and small white ironstone plates, flatware and napkins complete the place settings.
I love this reclaimed board as the base for the centerpiece arrangement. See the nail holes in the wood. Adds character.
Someone Have a Party
I know that if I was invited to a friend’s house and arrived to find this table setting to enjoy outdoors
I would be thrilled.
How about you?
Imagine your friends and family enjoying this outdoor setting
Here is an over all view of the table.
Using a glass cake stand as a display pedestal for a large white pumpkin that I purchased from a local farmer
I love those farmers!
Adding different heights of items adds interest to the center of the table.
Time To Enjoy
The temperature was perfect, the evening was beautiful.
What a wonderful way to enjoy nature.
Making a pretty table setting doesn’t have to be stressful, time-consuming or expensive.
The wine and the large white pumpkins were the only items I bought this year, everything else I had.
I hope this has inspired you to take a little time and enjoy a nice evening outdoors while the weather is so nice.
Take care and I will see you soon!
So you don’t forget it!
Thanks for stopping by.
