Summer Tablescape Farmhouse Dining

Summer-Tablescapes

We all have our own ideas of what we like as home decor, Right?

So how do we get those looks

We may second guess what looks nice

AntiqueFarmHouse

Should I use lots of color?

OR

Keep things more neutral?

Me?

If it makes we smile its right.

To help with all those home decor struggles, we are Taking Home Decor

BACK TO BASICS.

I have joined with some of my Blogger Friends for this new monthly series, hosted by 2 Bees in a Pod and The Crowned Goat

We will be sharing our own step by step tips and ideas on how  we achieve our individual style and look.

I usually start my tablescapes with a theme or color scheme in mind

Summer-Tablescape-Farmhouse-Dining-Ideas-and-Tips

Adding a touch of Farmhouse

To add a farmhouse feel I used my burlap table runner as the base

Then I added my center focus piece which was  an Italian glass jar

I placed faux wild flowers, white & coral blooms and daisies

This is not my real wild flowers but the real ones will be in bloom soon.

It wouldn’t be summer time at the farmhouse without a wild flower bouquet or two.

Summer Love

My current love for serving summer time drinks is Copper Mule Mugs

Don’t you just love the look……

I remember when I first saw one of these copper beauties

sometime last year, we were dining out and I saw someone with a copper mug

I didn’t know what drink was in the mug but I wanted one just because it looked so pretty.

So I got some of my own and have lots of enjoyment drinking and serving with these mugs

I love the color and are so appealing to look at.

Lemon & Limes and a Palm Leafs are ways to add a summer, look and feel to any table.  I happen to see a palm plant being discarded at work so I grabbed the leaves before they made it to the dumpster. If you would like a similar look HERE is a option.

Place Setting item list:

These are the items I used to pull the place setting together.  I shopped my kitchen cabinets.

White Distressed Charger

Yellow Linen Napkins – I found my yellow linen napkins at an estate sale, but you can get a set here.

White Plates – I have had these forever…..This is the set I have been hinting to my husband that I would love to get soon.

Small poka dot yellow plate

Silverware

You probably have most of these items.

All Set For Fun

There you have it…..Simple and fun summer idea……

So easy to put together a pretty table….nothing crazy or expensive.

In fact, everything I used for this tablescape I already had except the lemons and limes.

Look around you home and see what you come up with . You can create a look that is unique.  Have fun with it.

Gather your friends and make up a pitcher of Blueberry Cilantro Mule Cocktails

Pour into your copper mule mugs

Gather round your pretty summer table & enjoy the lazy days of summer.

Bon Bon, I love this mix of copper, yellow and white! It’s so pretty. I would have never thought to use the palm fronds as a coaster – that is super inventive. I can’t wait to try your drink ideas too. They look so good. Hugs, CoCo

It’s absolutely perfect! There’s nothing better than working with what you’ve already got lying around, I’m thinking I might need to add a few of those gorgeous copper mules to my own tablescape too!

This is such a beautiful, summer-y tablescape. I especially like the wildflower look of the floral arrangement in the large container, as well as the burlap table runner and copper mugs. It all goes together so nicely.
