Strawberry Protein Smoothie Healthy Meal



Today I am sharing my delicious recipe for a quick breakfast or anytime snack.  

This is my go-to recipe for breakfast and I never get tired of it. It is so delicious you will not believe it is so healthy for you.

Strawberry Protein Smoothie

Add 1 glass of milk or 16 oz. of skim milk in your blender.  You can use almond milk or 2%, whatever you prefer but of course, you want to use a low-fat milk.


Frozen Strawberries

Next, add frozen strawberries, the frozen berries make the drink really nice and cold.  I buy fresh  strawberries and slice and bag up in amounts to use for my smoothies to always have on hand.strawberry-smoothie


Banana and Almond Butter

To add natural sweetness, I like to slice up half a banana. To get your protein add a tablespoon of almond butter

Blend until smooth.  Only a few seconds.


Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Delicious, Nutritious Strawberry Smoothie


  • 1/2 cup frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 scoop whey protein
  • 1 tbls.almond butter optional
  • 2 ice cubes


  • In your blender add the milk and all other ingredients. Blend just until smooth. Pour in glass and enjoy.



There you have it.  

A fast and easy way to start your day or for an easy, healthy snack.  

You will feel good about taking care of yourself with this healthy breakfast
