Farmhouse Fall Table Setting

Mixing Textures for Eye Appeal

For my tablescape, I played with textures you don’t usually see together. I used a burlap table runner over a painter’s cloth as the tablecloth, with delicate white tulle layered in. The mix of rustic and soft textures is not only fun but also visually appealing.

To add contrast, I paired black plates with white ones for a chic look.

I used black plates to give contrast and used white plates underneath and on top. Here are similar black plates.

One of my favorite tricks for creating a polished and sophisticated tablescape is layering dishes. For this setup, I used black plates as the focal point and layered them under crisp white plates. The contrast between the black and white adds a modern, sleek vibe, while the layering itself brings depth and dimension to the table. This simple trick elevates the entire look, making it feel more intentional and stylish.

Adding a Personal Touch

I love using natural elements, so I incorporated gourds and spray-painted leaves into the centerpiece. The metallic spray paint I used on mini pumpkins adds just the right amount of spark, but I left the bottoms unpainted to let a hint of the original color show through for a unique effect.

Playing with Neutral Tones and White Pumpkins

For this tablescape, I leaned into neutral colors, which always give a calm and timeless feel. I added white pumpkins, which are my absolute favorite for fall decor, to bring a soft, natural elegance to the table. Their subtle color complements the overall neutral palette perfectly and ties the whole look together.
