Today I am talking about age and health a hot topic for most of us.

Staying healthy for all of our lives is the key to being able to enjoy ourselves as we age.  I have always been health conscious, but that doesn’t mean I have always ate and exercised like I should, but most of us haven’t.

As my doctor recently reminded me (I was complaining about aches and pains) that I am not 20 anymore. Huh! Well thank you very much, Doc!

One product I use everyday, and as I say “Let Your Healthy Out” is Emergen-C.  This packs a great punch with 1,000 mg Vitamin C and has 7 B Vitamins, Essential Nutrients, Electrolytes and Antioxidants.  Great to have that Vitamin C, especially since we are in the Cold and Flu season. Yikes!

Currently we are in the middle of building a new house and spend lots of time working/supervising. You can imagine the sore muscles and aches and pains.

Have no fear I always carry Advil, advanced liquid fast relief, in my purse, for me and my hubs.  Nothing’s faster on tough pain (among OTC pain relievers).  Use as Directed. This little bottle has saved so many of our outings from being cut short.  My husband has problems with his knees and if I didn’t have this is my purse, we would have very often had to stop shopping, hiking or sightseeing.  NO, NO NO!  This saved me.

After working on the new house most weekends we decided we needed a break from all the work and needed a date night.  So out to our favorite restaurant we go.

It was so nice to just relax and enjoy spending time talking and having wonderful food.  We decided on the cajun blackened salmon as our entree.  It was spicy and delicious. Thank goodness my husband had taken a Nexium 24 Hr. this morning since he knew we would be eating out.

Just one a day. All-day, all night frequent heartburn protection. Depending on what we eat or drink, there are times that he knows he needs a Nexium to prevent problems.  He wants to be able to enjoy dinner and eat what he enjoys.

The evening was a much needed break.  I am glad we took some time to just have fun.  You know the old saying…All work and No play makes for a boring life….or something like that. LOL.
