TABLE VIGNETTE IN BLACK AND WHITE

Creating table vignettes is one of my favorite decorating things to do.  

I made this vignette for my spring decorating, but really it could serve as an All season vignette. 

To start off I gather a bunch of items that MIGHT work in the vignette.  

Sometimes it begins as a hodgepodge of items and other times it is a lot of items by color.

As my base, I used a black wooden tray

For this vignette, I already knew I wanted it to have the main color theme of Black & White.

I decorate with black and white all through my home.

To me, it is so classic and versatile.

Next, I used dishes that I already had, which is an easy way to start assembling your kitchen or dining room vignette.

Here I added a stack of my ironstone saucers and a couple of coffee cups.  

Black and White striped straws added a interest to the display

Add items of different heights to give interest to the display.

I added my white pitcher for the height and as a final touch, I added the white tulips and small boxwood wreath to give just a touch of green.  

You can add utilities and other items that you think adds interest.
