I am sharing my recipe for Orange Sour Cream Cookies. These cookies are a little bit of heaven.

Orange Sour Cream Cookies
DESCRIPTION
This sweet orange sour cream cookie recipe will become one of your families favorites.
These cookies have a moist, soft texture with a sweet citrus flavor.
INGREDIENTS
It is so easy to make with simple basic ingredients. Mixes up in minutes.
ORANGE GLAZE
This orange glaze is so wonderful. Details below. You can whip it up in 1 minute.
Next time you are craving some sweetness in your life……..give this orange sour cream cookie a try. I think you will be impressed.

Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter & sugar; add eggs & vanilla.
- Alternate, sifted dry ingredients with sour cream, beginning & ending with dry ingredients
- Blend well
- Stir in nuts.
- Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
- In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla extract, butter, and grated orange zest.
- Gradually blend in orange juice until the frosting reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency
- Spread the frosting generously over the cooled cookies

Thank you for reaching out. The time is 10-12 minutes keeping in mind that oven temps vary. I always watch very closely, because they cook quickly and should be removed as soon as you see the edge browning to keep the cookies soft. Thanks for stopping by. Happy baking.

In case you didn’t see the reply to Shelia, the baking time is 10 minutes, but keep in mind that oven temps can vary. I keep a close eye while baking and as soon as you see any browning of the edges of the cookies they are done.
