This was a fun project and doesn’t take a lot of supplies. 

Supplies List

Mason Jar 

White Paint

Orange Paint

Black

White Sock

I decided to paint the jar white. I applied 2 coats of the paint

Once the paint was dry I distressed the jar lightly to give it a worn look

Now its time to add the snowman eyes, nose and mouth

I think he looks pretty good.  

I put the sock on the jar top to measure how much I wanted to cut off of the sock to make a stocking hat.

I turned the ends of the sock in and then put a couple of hand stitches in to hold the end close.  You could also pin or even hot glue the sock end if you wanted.

There you have it.  The DIY Mason Jar Snowman.
