Today is the day for the Spring Blogger Challenge lead by Susan from Momcrieff our leader and founder Carole at Garden Up Green.
I joined with 7 other creative bloggers for our #bloggerchallenge to use Mod Podge and Fabric to recycle any object we wanted.

Painting
For my project I decided to recycled a wooden tray that I had.
It was unfinished, so I decided to paint the tray white.
Here is a similar wood tray if you are thinking of making a tray for yourself. Wood Tray
Supplies:
Wood Tray (my tray was a 10″ x 12″)
Brush (any type) but I love my Purdy brushes
Fabric
Adding Fabric
I went through my fabric stash and found this chevron black and white fabric that I thought would look nice as a bottom to the tray.
Next I measured out my fabric and trimmed to fit the bottom of the tray.
Pour a little of the mod podge directly onto the bottom of the tray. Spread with a paint brush to cover the bottom of the tray.
I placed the cut fabric on the bottom of the mod podge covered tray and smoothed.
There you have it. A quick fun way to give an updated look to a plain boring tray.

I like that material the pattern is very eye catching and what a perfect way to jazz up a tray. I want to say those Purdy paint brushes are fantastic, I use them for staining and they make the process such a breeze. Happy Spring Bon Bon and as always a joy to work with you.

I absolutely love a tray; they can be used anywhere in decorating. The fabric brings a nice, but plain tray to life! Great job on the challenge!

White and gray are just the perfect color combination in my world. I just think it always look so fresh and clean. Love how you made that simple white tray look totally different. Now it looks much more like a higher end decor piece!
