Trying to get a good nights sleep can be a challenge.
I have suffered from insomnia for years and from reports across the country its at epidemic portions.
So if you are having problems sleeping because you suffer from insomnia, or are too busy to get to bed on time, job and life demands, there is one thing you can do to perhaps make sure while you are in bed you are as comfortable as possible.
Let’s talk about what I have done.
After buying a firm mattress for our master bedroom we loved the back support we get from the firmness but we did notice that we did suffer from pressure points soreness when first waking up.
Solving the Problem
So to solve that problem we bought a 2″ memory foam mattress topper.
We didn’t know if this would work or not but had to try something.
All you have to do is remove from box, put on top of your mattress and remove plastic wrap and then unfold.
Note.…my queen sheets fit over the foam topper and the mattress ok. If the foam had been any thicker then the fitted sheet would not fit.
More or Less?
I learned the hard way. More is not always best.
I first purchased the 4″ topper thinking more is better.
NOT!…. it was way too soft so we had the problem of no back support again.
So for us the 2″ memory foam topper works best.
We just recently bought a 2″ memory foam topper for our guest bedroom which has a new firm mattress and now a new 2″ topper.
Analyze Your Comfort
You will have to determine if you are suffering from pressure points aches while and after sleeping.
Like I mentioned we have a firm mattress for back support so this foam topper works perfect for us.
I have not tried this memory foam topper with any other mattress besides firm, so keep that in mind.
So I hope this has given you something to think about if you having problems with your comfort while sleeping.
Here’s to a good nights sleep ZZZZZ.
See you soon!
