Its beginning to look a lot like the Holiday’s…….here at the farmhouse.
Most of us decorate our homes this time of year for all the Holiday gatherings of family and friends.
We also want our homes to be comfortable and accommodating to lots of activity and people.
The two rooms that needed some attention in order to be holiday ready were my entryway/mudroom and my guest bedroom.
As most mudrooms it gets all the traffic, but it was lacking a place to hang coats, remove boots, shoes, and gloves. Not accommodating to guest or family.

Entryway Solution
The Meadows Hall Tree from Wayfair was exactly what my mudroom needed. There are options of colors and wood stains available. I chose the Rustic Oak and love the stain color of the wood bench and coat rack section.

Functional
We have an entrance from the outside drive and a door that enters from the garage, so you can see that this is a very busy room and needs to be functional and organized and this coat rack bench does all of that.
I will be adding a couple of baskets on the bottom shelf to hold gloves and caps, but the bottom shelf has lots of possibilities such as storage for books, blankets, and games to name a few.
Assembling the coat rack took me about 1 hour. They were simple and instructions were easy to understand.
I am so happy with this coat rack bench. It is good quality construction, sturdy, and very functional and really enhances the look of my mudroom area.

When I came across the Eddie Bauer Portage Bay Reversible Duvet Cover Set. I knew this was the one. I really liked the off-white background with the grey and red plaid design, understated, classic style.
