Create these adorable Bird Nest Placemats in 15 minutes or less…….No Kidding.
It only takes 2 items which cost about $15 dollars if you shop around.
This spring I have this obsession with bird nest.
I have several birdnest here and there around the house for my Spring decor.
They are just so fun and cute.
So it was a normal progression for me to create this placemat bird nest.
The hubs, gave me a strange look a few days ago when I was placing another one on a shelf in the dining room.
He said, “What’s with the Nest Thing???”
Me: “I like them.”
He just rolled his eyes and walked away…LOL
Ok back to the placemat bird nest. It is really really easy.
Making the Nest Placemats
Unwrap the main grapevine twig, that is holding it together.
Take the grapevine center part out first.
That is the plate size I used.
This is messy so do outside if possible.
Twigs and parts are going to come off.
You will be left with a thinner grapevine.
Wrap your ribbon evenly spaced around your wreath.
Tie a bow with both end pieces.
Isn’t this a cute idea and it is so easy and fun.
Your family and guest will enjoy dining at your dinner table even more than usual.
Best of all this is a low cost, big impact DIY
Once you are done using these as placemats you can always use as regular wreaths for decorating throughout the year.
Upcoming next week in regard to decor is some photos of my spring decor throughout the house.
The hubs will be happy to know that I am finished with making birdnest this year….time to move on to something else…SIGH!!! It has been fun.
