I am always so ready for all the things that Fall brings.
Elements of Fall
Pumpkins, cozy sweaters, cool crisp air, and beautiful colors, just to name a few.
A sure sign of Autumn is the abundance of yellow goldenrods.
Fields full of yellow and a drive along the rural roads is a beautiful sight
Don’t worry, Golden Rod does not cause allergy problems.
That would be its cousin the Ragweed.

I also found a few gorgeous ironweeds – vernonia gigantea.
It is getting late in the season for the ironweed (purple flower) but there were a few left.
They are at peak here in late July and August.

I made the burlap FALL banner, bought the white pumpkin and the yellow mum.
The bouquet was Free.
Small budget but big impact.
That is my favorite way to decorate.

Very pretty! Very interesting about Goldenrod too. I see that at our local Farmer’s Market but always avoid anything like that because of my husband and son’s seasonal allergies – maybe next time I’ll actually pick some up.
