Welcome Friends...…Spring is in full swing here at the Farmhouse.
The smell of Spring is in the air ….the flowers are blooming….the days are getting warmer….the grass is green.
Spring really gets me in the mood to clean and change-up my home decor and that is exactly what I have been doing.
Decorating for Spring.
I am so happy to share with you the SPRING FLING HOME TOUR Farmhouse Style Part 2.
My blogger friend Stephanie Casa Watkins is the host of this Spring Home Tour that features the decorating styles of 20 bloggers, so a big Thank You to her.

If you are new here we built and moved into our farmhouse in January of 2016.

My house is an open floor plan which I love, but it presents some interesting decorating challenges.
Living Room
First let’s take a gander at my living room.
To get the Spring feel and look I have added flowers around the house, some fresh some faux.
Flower bouquets can immediately give a home a Springy look.
This vintage sewing drawer makes a perfect spot for my 3 little bird nest.
I add these little nest all around the house for the Spring.
Pillows are one of my favorite decorating accessories.
I made these blue Striped Ticking Pillows and a vintage Sugar sack pillow and added them to the bench.
The large wooden candle holders use to be black……..Yep!
The black looked nice but I wanted a new fresh look for them.
I used my favorite chalk paint Rust- Oleum Chalked paint in Linen White.
This is my go-to paint and most of the furniture I paint I have used this color.
A view of the living from the loft area.
It took me weeks to find a rug for this area.
I finally found this vintage-inspired 9′ x 12′ Safavieh Adirondack rug on Amazon and knew right then that this was the perfect rug for living room.
Dining and Kitchen Area
Let’s move on to the dining and kitchen and boxwood wreaths are simple easy touches for Spring
I love creating vignettes. I did this one in a Black & White Themed Vignette with touches of green.

Going out side to the side entrance. Adding this Spring Stenciled Sign to greet our guest.
There you have my tour. I hope you enjoyed our Spring Fling Home tour and don’t forget to check out the other Home Tours below.
