Let’s go Down In the BOONDOCK’S.
Hi Friends…..this pass weekend we attended the outdoor wedding of our nephew. Don’t you just love outdoor weddings?
The name of the venue reminded me of this song…..just had to play it for fun! The BoonDocks Farm venue is out in the middle of no man’s land. The venue is beautiful and has everything you need to have a fabulous wedding or event.
I love attending outdoor weddings, but always thought it would be so nerve racking to plan one. What if it rains? What if it is cold or windy?
If you look closely at the aisles you will see they have hanging mason jars with babies breath. It is hard to see in this photo, sorry, but I was not the hired photographer, so I was trying to be
not seen discrete.
What a beautiful bride and handsome groom.
The weather was warm, low humidity and basically perfect. The wedding was held at 4:30 p.m. Perfect timing to still allow plenty of daylight time for photos after the wedding.
Hugs to the Bride and Groom from therir wedding party. The wedding party and some of the guest wore boots. Loved the look. Darn, I wish I had known because I have a pair of cowgirl boots I would really like to wear.
Right next to the lawn area was the barn/pavilion for the reception. PARTAY TIME! The decorations were beautifully done. I loved the rafter roof, lights and lanterns. Tables had white linen tablecloths with burlap table runner with picture frame board with table number and mason jar with roses.
First order of business for me was the Pinot Noir. You know, a glass a day for health reasons. LOL Delicious! They also had caramel apples, cupcakes and cakes.
The catered dinner was wonderful.
I loved this idea of the key with a card attached. This was for the seating arrangements. The number was our table and on the back was our names. So cute!
