MY HOME STYLE Farmhouse Charm

Hi My Lovely Friends……Do you love looking through others homes to see how they decorate?  I know I do.

I am so excited to be joining with 19 other bloggers to share our personal home decor styles in a blog hop hosted by my dear friend Stephanie, of Casa Watkins.  This group is full of talent and different points of views when it comes to decor, and I just know you will enjoy taking the tour!

Today is day 3 with the final 6 bloggers Home Style Tour.  If you are coming over from Roots North and South, Welcome!

My Home Style-Title (1)

If you are stopping here first, Don’t worry, you can find all the blog tours listed at the bottom so you can hop over to each ladies house and not miss a thing.

As for me,  when asked to describe my decorating style in 3 words, I was like hmmm…. I would say Farmhouse but also what other elements are My Home Style? I have always decorated with items I love.   Do you have a particular style that you know is “Your Style”?

So to figure out what I think best describes My Home Style besides Farmhouse,  I took a look around to see what my decor style was saying.

summer front porch ferns and plants

I started with my front porch. I would describe it as Farmhouse decor, simple cozy and welcoming.

My chalkboard/magnet board door, and printers tray both give a vintage look to my kitchen table area. If you would like to see the tutorial on my chalkboard door check here:  Chalkboard/Magnet Door.

I love vintage items and antiques. I have them mixed throughout my decor.

My dining room is a mix of modern and vintage.

My color style is more on the neutral with little bits of green or yellow here and there for color interest.

As you may have noticed, I usually add flowers of some sort to my decor.  Since I love gardening I try to incorporate my plants into my home when ever they are available.  I love the pop of color they add and most importantly, they make me happy. That is the conclusion of My Home Style Tour. Differently Farmhouse mixed with vintage, modern and traditional.

So I would say My Home Style is: Vintage Modern Farmhouse

There are no set rules when decorating your home.  Make it a place you and your family love, no matter how big or how small it can be beautiful.
