Merry Christmas Friends!
Welcome to the 1st ever My Home Style Christmas Tree Edition. Our host Stephanie @ Casa Watkins is the creator of this fabulous group of My Home Style bloggers. We each were challenged with describing our decorating styles in three words. I really struggled with what 3 words would describe my style. Click here to read more about that.
December we decided it would be fun to share our Home Styles by showing you our Christmas Tree Decoration Styles. How would you describe your Home Style/Christmas Tree Style?
If this is your first stop, I suggest starting at the beginning over on Casa Watkins to see all of the previous trees being shared.
If you are visiting us via blog Lovely Etc. Welcome! Wasn’t her tree beautiful!
Ok so let’s get to…………
My Christmas tree style has evolved over the years, from the traditional red and white to mainly white decorated tree.
I have two trees, but since I am packing up the house to move it made more sense for me to just put up the smaller, slimmer tree up this year. I used pine cones as a rustic element for my tree but the bulbs, star and snowflakes are all white or silver items.
I love using pine cones on the tree and around the house for the holiday season.
I found these stars at Big Lots this year and just couldn’t resist. I love the white and the soft look.
The only vintage bulbs I have on the tree this year are the white glass bulbs. We have had a couple of casualties with the bulbs over the years, but most are in tack. I have had the snowflakes for several years. I purchased them off of Amazon. Here is a link if you would like to check them out: Snowflakes
Tuco had to get in on the decorating ……I gave him his own string to play with, so he would leave the tree alone.
