I looked at the calendar yesterday and realized that next week is Thanksgiving, even though I worked on this tablescape last week I was thinking I still had a couple of weeks before the actual day. Wow, where has this year gone?
Today is the day that 15 bloggers of our Create and Share blogger group is sharing DIY Thanksgiving Table ideas and projects. These ideas and inspiration are all great ideas to use in your own homes. Creating Tablescapes is one of my favorite things to do so I was enjoying every minute of this months Create and Share theme.
With these table settings your guest will be impressed as soon as they walk into your home, long before you even serve the first appetizer.
I wanted to mix textures that you normally do not see together. Here is white tulle against burlap table runner and the table-cloth is a painters cloth. This is such a fun mix and great eye-appeal.
I used gourds and spray painted some leaves to mix in.
I used metallic spray paint on my mini pumpkins leaving the bottoms unpainted so you get just a glimpse of color.
I love that you stopped by.
I know you all have beautiful tables settings as well. How about sending me a comment and we can talk DIY.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving and time with your family and friends.
