With just a few supplies and about 30 minutes, you’ll have gorgeous flower bloom napkin rings to brighten up your table.
Sound good? Let’s do this!
Supplies You’ll Need:
- Magnolia blooms (or any large bloom you love)
- Green floral tape
- 2-inch metal rings
- Glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Wire cutters
How to Make DIY Magnolia Bloom Napkin Rings
I used magnolia blooms from a garland I had, but you can use any large flower that suits your style. Just keep in mind it needs to be big enough to make a statement!
1. Prepare the Flowers: Using wire cutters, remove the flower blooms from their stems. Trim the bottom if needed, but leave about 1/8″ of the stem to help secure the floral tape.
2. Wrap with Floral Tape: Begin wrapping floral tape around the ring and the base of the bloom, adding a little hot glue after every couple of wraps to keep it secure.
3. Secure Everything in Place: Keep wrapping until the bloom is tightly secured to the ring. The floral tape and hot glue will create a strong bond.
And just like that—you’re done!
The floral tape and hot glue form a tight strong bond. It does not take a lot of tape as you in the photo.

This is the back side of the ring with napkin inserted.

This is gorgeous! I need to find some of those rings, they are so pretty and really compliment your magnolia, no need to cover them at all. What a ‘wow factor’ for a table.
