Drink & Dessert All In One Glass
Today is a challenge involving Coca Cola and 5 Bloggers…..we were to create something with Coca Cola. Don’t worry I have all the links at the bottom of this post, so you won’t miss a single project from all these creative ladies.
When Carole of Garden Up Green asked who would be interested in this challenge the first thing I thought of was years ago and I mean many years ago……I remembered the Ice Cream Coca Cola drinks we sometimes got to enjoy.
Have you ever had a Coca Cola float?
When I made this float for my photo shoot, I knew it would taste good , but boy oh boy, I had forgotten just how good these are.
My intentions were that once I was done with the photography I would just take a few sips of the float and then be done with it. Nope, after one sip I didn’t stop until it was gone.
You only need two ingredients. Vanilla Ice Cream and of course Coca Cola.
Get you ice cream dipper out and fill your glass.
Pour coca cola slowly into the glass. Stir, add a straw and enjoy!

Method
- In tall glass add -4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- Slowly add coca cola
- Stir with spoon
- Add Straw
- Enjoy!

Love coke floats they are a sweet staple in our home during the summer after those blistering hot days. Served with Homemade Vanilla Blue Bell – well it’s like a little bit of heaven.
I agree…..I had forgotten how good these are until I made this one. Vanilla Blue Bell is very good ice cream and is good even by its self in a bowl. YUM

You are right, these are so so good! My dad used to take us down to Sonic for these as a special treat. Ah, good memories. Now I need one this weekend because my son would looooove it!
