Today is the day for the Spring Blogger Challenge lead by Susan from Momcrieff our leader and founder Carole at Garden Up Green. I joined with 7 other creative bloggers for our #bloggerchallenge to use Mod Podge and Fabric to recycle any object we wanted.
All the project links are listed below so you can check out all the talented ladies project.
For my project I decided to recycled a white wooden tray that I had. It was all white, nothing really going on there so I thought a little jazzing up would be fun.
If you would like a Wood Tray to make as your own here the link.
Wood Tray (my tray was a 10″ x 12″)
Brush (any type) but I love my Purdy brushes
I went through my fabric stash and found this chevron black and white fabric that I thought would look nice as a bottom to the tray.
Next I measured out my fabric and trimmed to fit the bottom of the tray.
Pour a little of the mod podge directly onto the bottom of the tray. Spread with a paint brush to cover the bottom of the tray.
I placed the cut fabric on the bottom of the mod podge covered tray and smoothed.
There you have it. A quick fun way to give an updated look to a plain boring tray.
Have you ever used Mod Podge? There are so many things you can make using Mod Podge. Let your imagination run wild.
